Biographical Sketch:
Wayne Huang is associate professor at
the Department of Management Information Systems, College of
Business, Ohio University.
Professor Huang has more than 12 years’ teaching and research experience at
research universities worldwide including USA, Australia, Singapore and Hong Kong. He worked as a
system analyst in IT industry before joining academic field. His research areas
include eCommerce, mobile commerce, groupware, computer-mediated communication,
and eEducation. Wayne has published
more than 55 academic & professional papers including Journal of MIS,
Decision Support Systems, Information & Management, IEEE transactions,
European Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of Information
Management, Behavior and Information Technology, and Journal Global Information
Management. He is now on the editorial boards of a few international MIS/IS
journals such as Information & Management, Journal of Global Information
Management, and Journal of Data Management.
Jarrad Hee, is a Senior
Manager in Strategy and Business Process, Financial Services in KPMG
Consulting, Australia. Dr. Hee has successfully managed and led project teams across the
Far East and Australia, and has
consulted for senior executives in numerous international high profile
wholesale and retail banking, and capital markets engagements. His focus areas
are in business integration/transformation strategies, re-engineering and
enterprise-wide IT strategies. Prior to joining KPMG, he held and executive
position in the capital market industry in Singapore. He has a MBA
and BBA (Merit), and was an Australian Commonwealth Research Scholarship
recipient conducting doctoral research in strategic management. Dr. Hee has published numerous professional white papers and
his research interest includes financial industry transformation strategies.
David C. Yen is a professor of MIS and
chair of the Department of Decision Sciences and Management Information Systems
at Miami University. He received a
Ph.D. in MIS and Master of Sciences in Computer Science from the University of Nebraska. Professor Yen is active in research, he
has published two books and over 100 articles which have appeared in
Communications of the ACM, Decision Support Systems, Information &
Management, International Journal of Information Management, Journal of
Computer Information Systems, Interfaces, Telematics
and Informatics, Computer Standards and Interfaces, Information Society,
Internet Research among others. He was also one of the co-recipients for a
number of grants such as Cleveland Foundation (1987-1988), GE Foundation
(1989), and Microsoft Foundation (1996-1997).
